Heatesca (Laura Lynn Murphey) is a DJ and Producer based in Portland, Oregon that has a broad selection of Electro House, House, Minimal, Deep House and Techno aimed to make you move. With three years of DJing under her wings, she has been in the studio ready to take off with original tracks to be released this year on Waveguild Records as well as other labels.

The 2012 DRAMBUIE® Nail or Fail Bartender Showdown in Portland took place on Tuesday March 26th and 27th at Spirit of 77 and Dig a Pony. Our beautiful staff stepped into the building(s) with some award winning original concoctions to boot.

About the competition:

Drambuie, the spicy Scottish liqueur that’s been tickling tongues since 1745, is on the hunt for the bartender with the brains and the skills to work cocktail magic. What kind of cocktail magic, you ask? The kind that demands your expert judgment this March 19 and 20 during their Nail Or Fail Bartender Showdown.

Last Tuesday and Wednesday night, our lovely bartenders Bethany and Ilana brought some tasty original cocktails to the table at Nail or Fail. Tuesday night we took home the People’s choice award and Wednesday we took home both the People’s choice award and Judge’s choice award.

This weekend, both drinks will be on special for $5 during Select Spirit Saturday…
